Had such an amazing time last week at the London Climate Action Week, particularly at the highly engaging Nature Positive Hub organised by our good friends at Nature4Climate. We were proud to do our bit in hosting the amazing Nature-based Solutions (hashtag
#NbS) community across the UK and EU, bringing together investors, buyers, project developers and solution providers.

The event was crucial in holding a dedicated day long dialogue, allowing for an exchange of ideas within the community on scaling the inflow of private capital in NbS projects and offering best practices via a host of recent successful case studies. My personal favourite was a point made by Nigel Topping, CMG in that being on an upwards exponential curve could appear as facing a constant wall everyday, to describe the current state of the natural capital landscape globally.

In the below snippet, I briefly share our own problem statement at Calculus Carbon to unlock the flow of institutional capital into NbS projects globally at scale.
